In honor of the Chinese Qing Ming Holiday, Attigo Chinese will be closed on Sunday, April 5, 2009 in the USA. Normal hours will resume on Monday.

Some have you may have noticed slight changes to our account management website. We pushed out a rewrite of the site that will make it much easier for us to enhance both the student and teacher experience.  One of these new enhancements is already live.  Now teacher can organize course lessons by simple drag and drop!

In other news, our colleagues at our Hong Kong subsidiary launched an exciting new product called Pay4Bugs at midnight on Valentine’s Day. Pay4Bugs is a unique software testing service that brings together a worldwide network of testers to help customers test their software products. Featuring no commitment needed to sign up and clear and upfront pricing, Pay4Bugs helps customers get early feedback regarding problems with their products from real humans.

The premier issue of study abroad leader CET’s newsletter features a story on Attigo’s founder who is a three time veteran of CET’s China programs. You can download a copy of the issue and read the article on page 3.

CET students who returned from summer study abroad in China have been participating in our beta testing program as a way to bring the language immersion provided by CET home to the States with them.  CET students accepted in the the January and Spring 2009 terms in one of their China programs will be offerred similar access to the program as a way to ease their transisition into a 24×7 Chinese-only language environment.

In observance of the Chinese National Day in the People’s Republic of China which runs from September 29th until October 5th, Attigo’s Chinese beta service will be closed from Sunday, September 28th to Thursday, October 2nd. Normal service will resume on Sunday, October 5th, 2008.
