In observance of the Chinese National Day in the People’s Republic of China which runs from September 29th until October 5th, Attigo’s Chinese beta service will be closed from Sunday, September 28th to Thursday, October 2nd. Normal service will resume on Sunday, October 5th, 2008.

Thanks to everyone who has signed up for our beta program since we started sending out invitations a week or two ago and especially those who logged in over the past week to use the service!

The first week went off without any major technical glitches.  Congratulations goes out to our development team for all of their hard work!

We will be sending out more invitations over the next several weeks to join the beta program for those of you that have previously signed up, so please watch your inbox closely.  If you are an individual user who would like to be part of the program, please sign up and we will notify you as soon as space becomes available. If you represent an institution or company that wishes to allow its students or employees to participate in the program, please contact us at beta@attigo.us.

Daily beta service hours for Attigo’s Chinese virtual immersion service will begin on Sunday, August 17th at 7pm US Eastern Time. Initial service hours will be 7pm to Midnight, Sunday through Thursday on the US East Coast and 4pm to 9pm, Sunday through Thursday on the US West Coast.

Attigo is happy to welcome students returning from CET Academic Program’s China study abroad programs this August into our private beta program. CET alumni returning from summer sessions will be eligible to be among the first to use Attigo’s Chinese virtual language immersion service to protect and enhance their investment in Chinese fluency made by studying in China with CET.

Returning CET graduates will receive an invitation code which can be used to create an Attigo Account and join the beta program in their welcome home packets.  A limited number of students will be eligible for free usage on a first-come, first-serve basis.  All CET graduates signing up through this program will be eligible for discounted beta pricing for the duration of the program.
